Job Description

Lincoln Tech in Union, NJ is seeking Fire Alarm Technicians to teach students in our Electrical and Electronics Systems program.

No prior teaching experience is necessary, we will provide the tools you need to become a successful instructor. Make a positive impact on the next generation of technicians and begin a rewarding new career!

Key Qualifications

3 years’ experience in the Security Alarm and Fire Alarm industry.

  • Fire Alarm System and Intrusion System Installation and Programming
  • Inspection, Testing, and Maintenance Of Fire Alarm Systems
  • Knowledge of Codes
  • CCTV, Access Control, and NICET Certified a plus

Responsibilities

  • Teach and provide hands-on training in Electrical and Electronics Systems in our fully equipped facility.
  • Facilitate and effectively deliver Lincoln Tech accredited course curriculum.
  • Support and motivate student growth, professionalism, and accountability,
  • Evaluate and communicate progress with students.
  • Teach students about the importance of safety and compliance.

  • Great communication skills
  • Proficient with technology
  • Teaching experience a plus
  • High school diploma / GED
